The Administration Department manages the day-to-day operations of the City, under the leadership of the City Administrator, which the City Council delegates certain authority and responsibilities. 

Generally, the Department:

  • Administers the utility billing system;
  • Administers elections;
  • Develops and monitors the the various budgets;
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations, rules, ordinances and laws;
  • Facilitates long-term planning, as well as community and economic development efforts;
  • Provides guidance and support for all City departments;
  • Recommends official actions to the City Council;
  • Represents the City in meetings with residents, business and civic organizations and other government agencies; and
  • Coordinates with City consultants, including the City Engineer, City Planner and Financial Advisor.
