Administration
The Administration Department manages the day-to-day operations of the City, under the leadership of the City Administrator, which the City Council delegates certain authority and responsibilities.
Generally, the Department:
- Administers the utility billing system;
- Administers elections;
- Develops and monitors the the various budgets;
- Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations, rules, ordinances and laws;
- Facilitates long-term planning, as well as community and economic development efforts;
- Provides guidance and support for all City departments;
- Recommends official actions to the City Council;
- Represents the City in meetings with residents, business and civic organizations and other government agencies; and
- Coordinates with City consultants, including the City Engineer, City Planner and Financial Advisor.
