Commercial & Industrial Development
As a growing community just outside of the Twin Cities metro area, opportunities abound for commercial development to provide goods and services to Winsted, McLeod County, and the surrounding areas.
The newly expanded industrial park is located on the south side of Winsted, near the intersection of McLeod County Roads 1 and 5. The latest expansion consists of more than 58 acres of land that has been annexed into Winsted city limits.
The City of Winsted provides businesses with easy access to Twin Cities’ amenities. To the South of Winsted is Minnesota Highway 7, and to the North is U.S. Highway 12. Winsted is also part of the metropolitan telephone calling area.
