2026 City General Election Filing Notice

Notice is hereby given that filing for city offices in the City of Winsted, Minnesota will be open on July 14, 2026 at 8:00 a.m. and close July 28, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. for the following offices:

One Mayor                                        Two Year Term

One Council Member At Large         Two Year Term

One Council Member At Large         Four Year Term

One Council Member At Large         Four Year Term

The General Election is to be held in the City of Winsted on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.

• Applications for filing will be available during the filing period at the City of Winsted, 201 – 1st Street North, Winsted, MN.
• The application filing fee is $2.00.
• The last day to withdraw is July 30, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.
