Winsted Brush Site Updates

The Winsted Brush Site is open for use and available on Wednesdays from 4 p.m. until dusk and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

 

Effective 9/03/24, work for the CSAH 5 Extension Project has moved to the WEST end of the CSAH 5 extension and will be CLOSED to through traffic from County Road 1.

Residents now have to access the Brush Site via County Road 9:
Go west on the CSAH 5 Extension (Industrial Drive) from County Road 9, then take a left (go south) on the driveway to the Brush Site / Wastewater Treatment Facility entrance road.  This is the only access or driveway to enter the Brush Site.  

The entrance road to the Brush Site has moved slightly to the east, for re-pavement of the entrance road. Signs have been posted to direct you to the temporary entrance for your convenience. 

 

Please note that the original driveway to access the Brush Site from County Road 9 is no longer in service.  Vehicles should not drive in this area for any reason.

Once construction is complete, residents will be able to access the entrance to the Brush Site from either County Road 1 OR County Road 9, and then south on the Brush Site / WWTF entrance road.
