Notice of Surplus Equipment Available by Sealed Bid; Due 06/08/2026

The City of Winsted is accepting sealed bids for surplus basketball equipment, including three complete basketball backboard, hoop, and support pole sets, and one additional support pole. All equipment is being sold on a final sale, as-is basis.

Interested bidders may inspect the equipment by appointment through the Public Works Department.

A completed Surplus Property Sealed Bid Form is required for all bids, and bids submitted in any other format will not be accepted.

The minimum bid is $1.00. Sealed bids will be accepted until Noon on Monday, June 8, 2026, and will be publicly opened at Winsted City Hall the same day.

Bids may be mailed or delivered to Winsted City Hall and must be clearly marked “City of Winsted – Sealed Bid.” Successful bidders will be responsible for payment and removal of equipment within the timelines established by the City.
